The use of fillers to improve cosmetics started in 1899 when silicone was used to improve the aesthetic outcome of orchiectomy. Since then, numerous implants and filler substances have been used to reshape body defects. However, the incidence of chronic inflammatory reaction, palpable nodule formation, granuloma formation, and migration decreased the use of these materials. This led to the advent of new materials that are biocompatible and nonpermanent. In 2009, a new formulation of stabilized hyaluronic acid (HA)-based gel was generated for restoring volume and contouring body surfaces.
Calf augmentation with HA is often performed in patients who describe their calves as excessively tight (in extreme cases they may be described as "stork legs"). These patients often have insufficient muscular mass, fat atrophy, illness such as clubfoot, spastic paralysis, spina bifida, or poliomyelitis.

Eikonha Body Filler

Eikonha is a dermal filler designed for the reshaping of the body.

Eikonha body filler is deeply injected to achieve the desired volume in the calves. However, unlike fat injections, Eikonha treatment takes place in the doctor's office. This method is the easiest way to increase the volume of the calves.

Eikonha has many Benefits:

• Minimal to no downtime required.
• The results achieved look natural.
• Results can be noticed right after the first treatment.
• There is no scarring caused.
• It is a pain-free, minimally invasive, non-surgical, safe, and effective treatment.
• Improving the appearance of calves and the overall look of legs.
• Boosting your self-esteem.

Duration of effect:

Eikonha body filler is hyaluronic based and hence the effects are non-permanent but long-lasting. Like any other dermal filler, the duration of effect of Eikonha is variable between patients and depends on several factors including age, type of skin, body metabolism, lifestyle, healthy living, and immune system. Eikonha effect can last between 6 to 18 months depending on the factors described. Follow-up treatments may be required every 6 to 12 months after the first treatment. Your surgeon will be the best to advise you on this.

Aftercare:

• Keep the area clean.
• Be careful with your medications (Consult your doctor about your medication history and follow as advised)
• Avoid swimming, sun exposure, sunbeds, sauna, or hot baths for 2 weeks.
• Strenuous exercising should be avoided for 2 weeks.
